We keep it simple this Ramadan. Lauk tak lebih than 3 dishes..mcm hari2 biasa juga. Ada mood bagus, kita pi bazar ramadan.We went to the one in Kelana Jaya cos' any attempt to go to our fav in Taman Tun, tidak berhasil.Kerajaan baru tutup tempat kami biasa parking menjadikan tempat tu super jam.Kerajaan baru atau saki baki musuh kerajaan baru.Ahaks.Bak kata Najib, semua salah saya! :)

We went back to Raub last Saturday. I dah berenti kelas music sebab selalu impt events on Saturday I cannot go.Maybe when I retire, boleh sambung balik, in sha Allah. Our family iftar was really cool.Only my youngest wasn't there. Despite the heavy downpour we had a nice family get together, talking about GE14 and other things.

Back at work and at the news of our colleague Dr Maszlee Malik becoming the Minister of Education, kami gempak buat seketika. Geng2 Gerak mula membuat tuntutan.Ahaks. And hasilnya kami nampak today..MPN dibubarkan.Rupa2nya bkn kami je yang tak suka MPN but the public rata2 menzahirkan rasa syukur mereka. I think academics should not allign themselves to the government or politicians. I hope GERAK will not do the same with the new government almaklum ramai kawan2 kita dalam kerajaan - be it parliament or state. I stay away. Memuji melampau2 sgt nanti kita tolong mereka jadi sombong.So it's good some MPs said don't call us YB or Dato or whatever.Panggil sedara je.

I need to catch up with deadlines.Oh , what is new.

GE14 Aftershocks

It was wise of Tun M to give us 2 days holiday towards the weekends making it 4 days. Even then, I feel that I hardly had a break. The aftershocks remain till now. I feel so drained and us not being able to celebrate immediately after the announcement of GE14 results made it worse. Seperti minum tercekik!

Anyway congrats kepada yang menang, jangan putus asa kepada yang kalah. If the current government misbehaves, we will take YOUR side pula. :)

I didn't wait till the end to get the rest of the results. Takat jam 1.30 am je. Dah spr lembab sangat. Tidur was better. When I woke up, Tun M dah buat press conference and kata pagi tu ada swearing in. Tunggu..takda..dari pagi ke ptg ke malam. Akhirnya 9. 30 pm lebih. Hadoi..byk sgt drama. Told my hubby I could not handle the drama anymore. Dia gelak je.

Besoknya drama lagi. Ada orang nak naik planelah, yang dah lepas lari lah, yang dah naik plane kena turun la.Hari ni pun drama lagi. Kata nak repeal the Fake News law. dah cerita lain pulak. Berebut nak jadi MBs, Menteri pulak. Hadoi. But I guess bukan mudah nak menggerudi a group of leaders who are not mere leaders..ni yang jenis keluar masuk prisons.Good luck to them. And us.

Di 'menara gading', kami juga menuntut kemerdekaan kami dari para pembodek dan penjilat. Time to be clean and professional about being academics. Udah2 le nak jadi politicians sama.Ramai Profs turun kempen for BN. Apa hal, brother?

I'm looking forward to AI's release.Harap kita semua maju ke hadapan and not menapak ke belakang.Kita doakan SEAsia ini stabil. Berita dari seberang is not so encouraging.Cuba fikir, siapa yang cuba menidak-stabilkan rantau ini ketika Msia dan Indonesia semakin kukuh perubahan pentadbirannya? Pengganti Jokowi dikatakan jauh lebih baik darinya jika dia menang election mereka nanti.

Demam PRU14

I went to see my Bodytalk therapist on Saturday. She said ada sesuatu conflicting in me. So I told her wht was bothering me. I nak jadi PACA tak boleh sebab peraturan universiti. Waaa...Rupa2nya every negative thought or worry will affect our well-being..our muscles. Bodytalk teaches us to listen to our body.We may not have the answer but merely acknowledging there are issues will relax us a lot. Now I know why Islam ajar kita berbaik sangka. Inilah hikmahnya.

By the end of my session, my therapist congratulated me for my courage. My body responded well to the treatment. Jalan pun dah tak sakit.I said I had not made any decision yet. She said the fact that you offered to be a Paca was already something brave. Lorr..senang sgt nak jadi bravenya?

Setelah I timbang masak2 (to the 11th hour), I pulled out (panggilan pertiwi dah keluar and I already knew whr my station was) but kita mohon ASA review academic integrity ni.Takkan nak jadi polling agent pun tak boleh.Check I/C orang jer bkn merayu undi orang. Hadoi.

Z's ballot paper tak sampai2 so melepas lagi la dia dari mengundi.Last PRU underage lagi.
Family WA terus berkung fu kiri kanan.But nasib no one leaves room yet.Sensitip woh.But it's OK..we have all colours in our family.Biasalah kan dok cucuk sana sini.
