Selangor has a long weekend this week so I thought we'd do our Raya shopping early.
I was also inspired by a group of people who were seen entertaining young orphans, buying them Raya clothes.They were from an NGO from Kampong Baru (who came all the way to PJ to shop..appparently the orphanage was from Sg Pencala) The kids were excited cos' they were allowed to choose their own clothes.
We picked up Najwa (Nik's niece) to join us.This year we changed our mall: Subang Parade.Mak oii...baju raya were ranged between RM400 and RM1000/= sepasang! Are we in a recession or NOT? And some families beli macam tak apa-apa! (for me RM400 pun dah kena fikir 2-3 kali) Where do these people come from? Entah2 from Spore or Brunei!
I tawaf satu Subang Parade looking for a nice bargain.Not only were they not nice, but costly (my mall yang I selalu beli lagi cantik...for the price offered at Subang Parade).Anyway, in the end, I found one outlet which had nice kurungs (chiffon lagi) at a price I thought was very reasonable.Bought one for Najwa and another for me. Z and her dad went separate ways (handling Z would be difficult so I told Nik, baik dia je pi with Z.Kang I end up quarrelling with her.She would always disagree with my choice.Bapak dia sabar sikit..)
Everyone was happy.My spine macam nak patah (too much walking around) and we ended up breaking fast at Nik's mom's.Malas nak masak..just buy at Kelana Jaya's pasar Ramadan.
Thk God besok cuti.But promised Mama to introduce her to Dr Lau, the acupuncturist.We want to needle2 ourselves to lose weight (I'm OK.She, now so inspired by my weight loss).Lepas tu bdk2 Iran ajak I berbuka puasa with them.I'll drop by kejap and balik after Maghrib.
Ramadan flies.

saya ada ke ampang point, baju raya banyak2, tapi tak ada yg berkenan di hati.. tapi ada satu butik jual japanese and italian cotton baju kurung cantik2.. nama buntik tu bungor.. butik lain mcm yang Dr cakap, mahal sangat.. nak beli pun fikir 2-3 kali.. dengan orang ramai, kene pakai mask all the time, nak bernafas pun tak selesa.. hihi..
aim tahun ni saya nak turunkan beberapa kilo sempena puasa, tapi tak tahu kat mana silapnya, sekilo pun tak turun.. akhirnya 3 hari lepas saya terbeli teh orang kampung.. semalam start minum, rasa nya hanya Allah yang tahu.. pagi tadi memulas perut dan asyik ke toilet sampai seram sejuk badan ni.. nak kurus punya pasal..
sampai lembik, terketar2 n lemah2 badan..
Saya tahun ini seperti tahun-tahun lepas, baju melayu raya tempah lepas raya.Hehehe..
Good thing, I lost 5 kg.Phewwwit!Ini berkobar-kobar nak lose a lot more after Raya.Hope I can close my eyes to the lontong,lemang,etc. I believe I can do it.
Tahun ni nak berziarah cari kawan-kawan lama di Kuala Lipis.
Lady: so it's national, baju raya tahun ni naik melambung? I tak sempat (and won't!) survey malls yang lain.I also notice tukang buat and tukang jual baju dah mula sedar bahawa kain yang sesuai utk kita cuaca panas hanyalah cotton.Kat Subang Parade pun melambak2 cotton tapi Allahu! mahal giler macam jual kain chiffon or silk.Nasib masa I pi Bangladesh early this year I dah beli berkilo2 kain cotton dan dah tempah.Kosnya sangatlah jimat!I tengok kain jenis I tu depa jual hampir RM200 sepasang!
Pls be careful with your losing weight prog.Kalau tak kena gaya, can be damaging to the kidneys.I hope Dr Bubbles lose 5 kilos sebab ikut cara berbuka puasa mcm I suruh tu (ke minum teh org kampong juga?)
I tak suka cara lose weight yang asyik pi toilet (acupuncture is safe)
Dr Bubbles, singgah rumah mak I kat Raub.We should be there 3-4 hari juga.1st day dgn in laws in PJ this year but we usually shoot off to Raub after lunch.Beep me.

baik beli chiffon.. lebih kurang jer harganya..kat the mall, ada batik crepe.. dekat 400..
huhu.. baik la duit tu saya buat kasi duit raya untuk mak bapak di kampung..
i'm not the only one who is difficult, you know. haha ;)
Lady: I love crepe silk tapi mahal sgt tu..last year boleh le beli..tak terasa lagi inflasi kita..
Z: sure...but teh question is who is MORE difficult.Heh heh
