I just wish to thank Anuar who came to me and said hi (also Zul) at the dinner at Nikko this evening.
I enjoyed both talks given by Dato' Saifuddin Abdullah and Prof Kamal.Dato' S was funny (so many anecdotes related to IIUM which I think he created himself! I was sitting next to his wife and asked where he got those stories.Datin also thot he "pandai2 karang sendiri")Prof. K was deep.
It's nice to know leaders of both parties (all IIUM alumni)could sit and dine together.Prof K said we should rise above party politics (and celebrate ummatic politics...ummm I think he said ummatic politics.Anuar, pls correct if I get it wrong!)

Bulu roma saya meremang apabila Prof. K menyatakan, "Politik Melayu semakin rapuh. Ini sesuatu yang sangat 'menyeramkan'."

Anuar: politik melayu dah lama rapuh.Mungkin telah patah.But last nite macam bagi hope both sides CAN work together (vote for issues yang boleh bawa manafaat kpd ummat instead of who mooted them).I'm glad Prof K sits as one of the Advisors for MACC.Rasanya dia boleh 'mendidik' yang lain-lain tu.Kita doa beliau panjang umur dan sihat kesihatannya.

Kesian you tak cukup meja.Kat meja kita byk tempat kosong.I heard yang duduk belakang tu tak dengar juga speech Prof Kamal.Tu sebab depa bising kat belakang (berborak2 dgn kawan2 yang lama tak jumpa).
I hope next reunion yang batch tu boleh datang lagi.Kita takda rakaman speech.Kena tanya pihak penganjur ==> En.Khair.
