Naik Hantu (Spring Blues)
How can I write of magnolias, daisies, cherry blossoms
roses, lavenders, tulips
daffodils, camellias and irises
when I still see seas of winter?
I leave no winter mark
on waves of cold emotion
signalling death
of a time
of a place
Naik hantu
a Malay expression when one is sick and tired
of something beyond one's control
Are you mad at God?
Is God at fault
that everything is so confused
day is night
night is day?
Spring is Winter
Winter is Spring?
Do we know who we are
And who HE is?
Is this not time to reflect?
In the words of a sufi
"I searched for God and found only myself. I searched for myself and found only God"
No reason to naik hantu.

Did you read about budak kat virginia naik hantu? Kesian indeed.For those who died innocently and the Korean boy who had to resort to mass murder as a means to get out of whatever pain and anger he was in.I wish he had gone to a counsellor or something.
Hai dear,really miss u.Sorry lama tak menjenyah blog u.Busy sikit kononnya .I pun konfius dengan that boy.But I think must be areason dia jadi begitu.About the poem nice poem.Thanks .Really sweet of u anh really hope 2 see u one sweet day.Naik hantu ( can be serba tak kena ).Masa anak2 i kecil dulu ada juga naik hantu but sekarang dah besar and u know what I'll be missing them now and then.Anyway syukur for what ever Allah given to us .
Senyap je mailing list kita.Selalu bebudak jantan tu naik hantu.Ha ha.Jadi ke dia orang pi concert Olivia Newton John? Tua sungguh! Olivia pun dah tua.I missed concert Cliff Richard but my students pergi (sampai ponteng kelas!)Dah tua2 ni nak pi concert pun sibuk.
Yalah..kesian parents yang anak2 dia mati kena tembak but did you watch President Uni dia baca poem bagi semangat? Boleh naik hantu punya power!I pun nangis.Very sad lah.
Concert ONJ ( mesti ingat Saturday Nite Fever ) dengan rambut gondrong ( my daughter selalu ketawa tengok gambar dolok2 ) She said "Mama orang dulu rugged nye,baju kilat,seluar besar kaki and kasut terompah and trade mark rambut mesti kaw-kaw.Ha....ha ,anyway masih winter over there ?Nik Zafirah must be ur kid right? She really missed her sweet mama ( semanis gula ).Hope this kinda of incident tak berlaku di Malaysia.Tapi life di malaysia pun kini menuntut banyak faktor esp di KL I guess.Our mailing lists suddenly turn very quite.Possible ke kita ramaikan lagi our malay friends.Maybe kena promo ni.
memang lawak zaman kita..kalau berdisco..macam ulat nangka.Nasib baik tak tergeliat urat.

Miri such a nice place to stay ( promote sikit ).Yang special di Miri is belacan ( buat sendiri ).I pernah cuba buat and end of the day jadi santapan tanah ( juz because i tengok2 org buat then i cuba di rumah - bodohnya I )Ikan terubok ada di Miri (happen i day i gi kl i pack 4 u )Tapi tak boleh makan byk2 nanti naik hantu ( nolah darah tinggi).At our age we have to be very precaution abt our food ( I keja di Health Dept) kena jaga makan ( ewah......)
I was just asking.I pun tak suka yang masin tu.Too salty.Some people depa rendam dulu lama2 baru masak (asam pedas ke) Yeow! Semalam I asam pedaskan salmon but no daun kesom.Mana sama, kan?
