We decided to bring 6 years old Nayli to an open house in Kg Tunku (Nik's former CEO's home).She was telling us about her hariraya concert at her pre-school where she performed with a few friends..two boys and a girl.We teased her about the boys.Did she like them, etc.Then she broke us her sad story.
I like another boy.But there are other girls who like him.
We asked her: so did you dump him?
She said: no...he likes another girl whose name starts with this letter (she said what the letter was..I will not expose everything..some day Nayli is going to visit my blog and will feel embarassed by her childhood crush.Haha).
Nayli said she cried and cried...alone in the surau.And again in the lift.We went owhhh...pitying her.
I asked did you tell your mom.She said yes.
When we dropped Nayli after the open house, her mom confirmed the story.She told her: I am so broken hearted,Mama.
Of cos' we all laughed.We should not have.For a little girl like her, she probably does not even know wht boyfriend means.Probably she thinks it's just friendship.Nayli describes her little brother as her boyfriend too.
We tried cheering her up (she was crying again at home) saying there would be other boys, we'd find her a replacement, we'd bring lots of boys to her next bday party (they'd pop out of her bday cake..haha..uncle and aunty nya pun sama naik!) but Nayli said: there will not be other boys, I just want this boy.
Wough! Tak dapet la eden nak membantunya.
