A few ASA members paid a visit to our former colleague in Ipoh, Dato Seri Zambry and his family.Datin Seri Sharifah is such a humble and friendly person.Every malam Jumaat, they would give makan to budak-budak sekolah tahfiz sekitar Perak, do solat hajat, tazkirah,zikir bagai.Sungguh hidup malam Jumaat di kediaman Menteri Besar Perak ini.I do not think ada MBs lain yang buat macam ni.In a way, UIA telah berjaya mengeluarkan pemimpin yang tidak melupakan Penciptanya.DS is of the earlier batch of IIUM students...a direct anak didik Prof Kamal.
We left IIUM campus at 5 pm.Balik KL 2 am. But if we were to work with the orang asli at Tasik Banding, it's important we inform the state of our intention.Tak manis masuk rumah orang tak bagi salam pada tuanrumah.Gitu.
Our good friend Prof Sobri (kita sama2 heads of dept at the kull many years ago) asked if I wanted to join their new uni.How sweet of him to think of me.I said my hubby would not want to pindah to Perak.Ketidak I tinggal sebelah rumah Saniah di Kuala Kangsor gamaknya.Haha.Well, it was really nice meeting all of them.Orang UIA ni dia dah ada satu macam brotherhood and sisterhood which would make us all feel like family.Yang ni org tak faham why we spend our whole life at the uni (first job sampai ke mati).It's that ukhwah/brotherhood-sisterhood thingy.
